Final Idea

                                                                 Our Final Idea


The final Idea that we decided to use was the kidnapping/hostage scene, using many camera angles to document this sequence. We do not have a McGuffin in our opening sequence. The second part of our thriller is the actual hostage scene where we use a retractable knife. When Amy (playing Vivian) asks "Where is it?" creates questions in the audiences minds. Different camera angles will be used to create tension. We challenge the stereotype of men being the kidnappers as we have all female actresses. We chose to use a female actress, for the role of the victim, as this symbolised the weakness of women in the patriarchy.
