What is an indent?
An indent is designed to identify a particular studio which is also similar to their logo. it should be easily identified, memorable and also easy to recognise. Film and television studios often have moving idents and they always appear at the start of the film before the opening titles.

The Indies
These are the studios that work outside the major system and they are known as independents.
